Show Information
Anyone participating in an SEFMA Show must, first, undergo a 3 week minimum quarantine. During this quarantine, no new animals may be brought into the same air space as mice attending the show. The best practice is to just quarantine the entire mousery, instead of just show entries. That way if a substitution has to be made at the last minute, all animals will have been quarantined beforehand.
The SEFMA offers regular show classes, pet show classes, and junior showmanship. Only members may enter their mice into a show. The SEFMA Show Guidelines Handbook offers a detailed list of show rules, accepted standards, and show procedures. As well as, how to choose the best specimen for your entry. All mice entered must be shown in Maxey Show Cages.

Maxeys may be purchased from the SEFMA or from AFRMA. Show boxes will also be available to rent the day of the show. Mice are to be shown on Harlan Teklad Diamond Soft Bedding, which will be available for use at the show at no cost.
