My Lavender program has long since been overdue for some new stock. I have been, in the past, working with some very low qaulity mice to build up this line. I started by breeding these two mice together to get the black pups carrying the recessives (click name for pedigree):

NDM Egyptian
Satin Banded Blue Tan buck

NDM Caramel Latte
Champagne Tan doe
My original plan was to breed the resulting offspring from this pairing back together, and then keep the Lavender pups resulting to breed into typier mice to build the type up on the pups. However, another oppurtunity presented itself entirely, and I now have two new foundation mice for this line. The plan is still the same, breed the resulting pups back together, but I will not have to go back and add type later with this pair.
Our new Lavender Foundation Stock (click name to view pedigree):

KKE2-2917-A
Champagne buck

KKE2-2962-2
Blue doe
In this line, I will be breeding in a variety of different coat types and patterns, as well. I do plan to keep Lavender in self, tan, and banded. I also plan to keep Lavender in the following coat types: Standard, Satin, Fuzzy, Rex, and Longhair.
Hopefully, it won't be much longer now!
